Strategic Partnerships and Events Manager

This dynamic role is pivotal in driving growth for a leading beverage company in Queensland by spearheading the development and execution of an impactful sponsorship strategy.

You will secure meaningful partnerships and ensure their successful activation through innovative events and flawless brand messaging, resulting in measurable outcomes and significant contributions to the company's brand awareness and market position within the region.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement state-level sponsorships and events in Queensland.
  • Coordinate national sponsorships at a state level to align with sales and marketing objectives.
  • Design annual sponsorship leverage plans and toolkits aligned with brand, portfolio, and state sales strategies.
  • Manage project budgets, ticketing, hospitality programs, and pourage agreements effectively.
  • Evaluate all sponsorship activities to ensure compliance with brand, legal, and corporate guidelines.
  • Build strong relationships with agencies, suppliers, and state sales teams to maximize sponsorship impact.
About You:
  • A tertiary qualification in business or relevant experience.
  • At least 3 years of experience in a similar Sponsorship & Events or Sales and/or Marketing role.
  • Proven ability to manage and leverage sponsorships to achieve maximum value.
  • Exceptional communication skills, with strong influencing and negotiation skills, and relationship management skills to collaborate effectively with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Strong analytical skills to track, measure, and evaluate sponsorship performance.
  • Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
  • A creative mindset, a hunger for innovation, and passion for finding solutions to branding challenges.
