Job Description

As a Regional Events Coordinator, you will play a vital role in shaping the region's major event landscape. You will be responsible for identifying, attracting and servicing major events staged on the Sunshine Coast.

Main Responsibilities
  • Manage all stages of the event sponsorship lifecycle from initial discussions to contracting, leveraging, execution and acquittal.
  • Work closely with stakeholders to ensure alignment with broader strategic goals and community values.
  • Identify new event opportunities for the region and assist in the development and implementation of projects designed to increase the region's recognition as a premier destination for Major Events.
Required Skills and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will require:

  • Bachelor's degree qualifications in Events Management or relevant field experience in the events industry.
  • Substantial knowledge and experience in the area of event industry, coupled with experience in event marketing and strategic event leveraging.
