About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Implementation Specialist to join our team at Charles River Development Inc Australia Branch. Job Summary

The successful candidate will be responsible for leading or co-managing implementation projects, providing exceptional client-facing skills, and ensuring seamless project execution. With a strong background in financial markets information systems, you will be well-equipped to interpret workflow analysis documents and convert them into specifications for CR IMS configuration.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead or co-manage implementation projects from start to finish.
  • Provide a single point of contact for clients, ensuring effective communication and proactive leadership.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, stakeholders, and internal teams.
  • Interpret workflow analysis documents and create specifications for CR IMS configuration.
  • Guide clients on best practices for implementation and efficient workflow configuration.
  • Manage and execute daily project plan steps, ensuring timely completion.
  • Facilitate conference calls and meetings with consultants, product experts, and clients.
  • Communicate updates on upgrades and major releases to clients.
  • Monitor and assist with issue escalation processes.
  • Respond to additional product requests from clients.
  • Coordinate work undertaken by CRD representatives in other locations.

What We're Looking For

  • Minimum 8-10 years of progressively responsible experience in the Financial / Software Services industry.
  • Extensive front office experience, including order management and dealing with fund managers/traders.
  • Applications experience with Charles River Trading System/Compliance Master or equivalent competitor systems.
  • Excellent market instrument knowledge, including fixed income and derivatives.
  • Technical knowledge, ideally SQL.
  • Experience with full life cycle implementation essential.
  • Strong communication and presentation skills, comfortable making presentations to business, technical, or sales audiences.
  • Third-level qualification, ideally a Technical Bachelor's Degree.
  • Willingness to travel, potentially >50% per calendar year.
  • Flexibility with schedule and ability to work beyond regular business hours.

Compensation and Benefits

We offer a competitive salary range of $120,000 - $180,000 AUD per annum, depending on experience, plus benefits that include medical care, insurance, savings plans, flexible work programs, and opportunities for professional growth and development.
