Job OverviewThis is a key leadership role that oversees the planning, implementation and delivery of mine services projects. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading a team to ensure safe, efficient and productive operations.Key Responsibilities
  • Plan and manage the delivery of mine services projects to meet business objectives;
  • Provide leadership and direction to the Mine Services team to achieve high performance results;
  • Identify and implement opportunities to improve operational efficiency and reduce costs;
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders to deliver safe and effective outcomes;
  • Ensure compliance with relevant laws, regulations and company policies;
  • Manage budgets and resources to achieve project goals;
  • Lead by example in maintaining a positive and inclusive work culture.
RequirementsTo succeed in this role, you will need:
  • A NSW Open Cut Examiners Practicing Certificate;
  • Extensive knowledge of NSW Coal Mining & WHS Statutory Obligations;
  • Evidence to support the maintenance of competence for the Practicing Certificate;
  • Extensive knowledge of open cut mining operations including drill & blast activities;
  • Experience in the planning and supervision of projects and contractors;
  • First Aid Certificate;
  • ICAM training is desirable.
