Job Overview

This is an exceptional opportunity for professionals seeking a challenging and rewarding role in asset management.

We are looking for a skilled Asset Inspector to join our team in Melbourne, responsible for proactive inspections of public assets for safety and increased life-span, as well as routine inspections for fault identification and maintenance program development.

The ideal candidate will have relevant experience in a similar role, be certified from a recognised Playground Inspector course, and hold a full Victorian licence. They will also possess excellent communication skills and be able to work independently while maintaining accurate records.

About the Role
  • Proactive inspections of public assets for safety and increased life-span
  • Routine inspections for fault identification and maintenance program development
  • Repairs of playgrounds, sport fields, irrigation systems, street furniture and open space programs

A typical day will see you at different parts of the shire delivering your inspections and associated works. A small amount of office time for data entry and reporting, then ordering and/or fixing identified issues.

Requirements
  • Relevant experience in a similar role
  • Certified from a recognised Playground Inspector course
  • Full Victorian licence
  • Ability to work independently and maintain accurate records
