Operations Specialist Position

LGT is the world's largest private banking and asset management group. We have extensive experience in managing significant assets.

Job Role Overview

This Operations Analyst role offers exceptional client service and support for creating and maintaining client accounts, as well as transferring assets. This position is a 12-month fixed term contract, allowing us to effectively deliver high-quality services.

Your Key Responsibilities:
  • Daily reporting, reconciliations, and task completion are essential for this role.
  • You will be responsible for onboarding new clients, including understanding documentation requirements and performing AML/KYC verification checks.
  • You will record static data into systems, update client information, account classifications, products, and services.
  • Account closures and deceased estates (probate/will) require your attention, along with processing asset transfers according to client instructions and market deadlines.
  • You will process asset cost bases and maintain liaison with custodians and business partners.
  • Essential is ensuring adherence to Corporate Risk Policy, Standard Operation Procedures, relevant legislation, and regulatory requirements.
Your Required Profile:

We are seeking a candidate with:

  • At least 2 years of experience in Operations within Financial Services.
  • A good understanding and knowledge of Australian Financial Markets.
  • A degree qualification in Finance, Business, or Commerce.
