Job Title: Hotel Operations Team Lead

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Hotel Operations Team Lead to join our team at Novotel and Ibis Melbourne Central. As a key member of our hotel operations team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth day-to-day operation of our hotel, providing exceptional customer service, and leading a team of front desk staff.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide exceptional customer service to all guests, responding to their needs and resolving any issues in a timely and professional manner.
  • Lead a team of front desk staff, providing guidance, support, and coaching to ensure they are equipped to provide excellent customer service.
  • Monitor and maintain accurate guest accounts, ensuring all charges are correct and up-to-date.
  • Attend to all incoming calls via the switchboard, responding to guest inquiries and resolving any issues in a timely and professional manner.
  • Maintain strict security procedures to ensure guest confidentiality and safety.

Requirements:

  • Previous experience in a hotel operations role, preferably in a leadership position.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to lead and motivate a team.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to think critically and make sound decisions.
  • Ability to work rotating 7-day roster, including evenings, weekends, and public holidays.
  • Valid Responsible Service of Alcohol (RSA) Certificate in Victoria.
