Hot Section Chef de Partie Job Description
Sofitel Sydney Wentworth, a luxury hotel and part of Accor, is seeking a talented Hot Section Chef de Partie to join our team. As a key member of our culinary team, you will be responsible for preparing and presenting high-quality dishes in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare and cook a variety of dishes to a high standard
- Work effectively as part of a team to deliver excellent service
- Maintain high levels of communication with the Executive Chef and Sous Chefs
- Operate in accordance with HACCP standards
- Supervise and prepare established recipes
- Ensure special messages and requests are dealt with promptly
Requirements:
- Several years of experience working in a high-volume 5-star luxury hotel environment
- Ability to demonstrate advanced CDP skills
- Team player with good communication skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent attention to detail
- Passion for food and quality products and ingredients
- Skilled in using commercial-grade kitchen equipment
