Defence Engineering Opportunity

We are seeking defence experienced engineering professionals to deliver complex projects that support Australia's defence capability.

This is a unique opportunity to work at the forefront of Australia's land systems programs and help shape the future of defence within various branches, including Armoured Fighter Vehicle Branch, Land Vehicle Systems Branch, Land Manoeuvre Systems Branch and Land Engineering Agency.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Investigate technical issues and develop instructions for platform systems.
  • Work with multidisciplinary teams to develop design requirements for Mechanical and Electrical platform systems.
  • Participate in engineering reviews and develop reports.
  • Meet Authorised Engineering Organisation requirements and Contractor Engineering Management Plan.
  • Assist with work instructions and maintenance schedules preparation and review.
  • Conduct high-quality work, including reports and design contract documents.
  • Maintain relationships with customer and supplier contacts.
  • Provide assistance to team members as required.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Degree qualified Chartered Professional Engineer.
  • Ability to develop and execute Systems Engineering Management Plans.
  • Hands-on experience in configuration management practice.
  • Knowledge of ASDEFCON Contracting framework.
  • Experience in risk management, Verification and Validation (V&V) planning and test execution.
  • NV1 AGSVA Security Clearance.
