Job Opportunity

We are seeking defence experienced Engineering professionals with an interest in delivering complex and meaningful projects that support Australia's defence capability.

About the Role

The primary objective of this position is to undertake technical investigations and provide technical instructions relating to platform systems, including verification and validation of technical data.

  • Work within a multidisciplinary team to develop design requirements in the context of engineering change management and configuration management relating to Mechanical and Electrical platform systems.
  • Participate in Engineering design Reviews and the development of Engineering Support Reports.
  • Work both within and to the requirements of the Authorised Engineering Organisation.
Key Responsibilities

Some key responsibilities of this role include:

  • Degree qualified, Chartered Professional Engineer
  • Develop and execute Systems Engineering Management Plans.
  • Hands-on experience in configuration management practice.
  • Working knowledge of ASDEFCON Contracting framework (above and/or below the line).
  • Risk management.
  • Verification and Validation (V&V) planning and test execution.
  • NV1 AGSVA Security Clearance.
