Job Summary
Jesuit Social Services is a social change organization that aims to build a just society where all individuals can reach their full potential. The Chief Operating Officer will play a key role in leading the operational effectiveness of the organization, ensuring the delivery of the Strategic Plan and maintaining the overall financial health, stability, and sustainability of Jesuit Social Services.

About the Role
This leadership position requires a strong ability to guide and support effective decision-making at both strategic and operational levels. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the organization fulfills its mission while adapting to a complex and changing environment. Key responsibilities include maximizing integration across programs, developing evidence-based interventions, and piloting early intervention initiatives.

Key Responsibilities
- Leading the operational effectiveness of the organization
- Ensuring delivery of the Strategic Plan
- Maintaining overall financial health, stability, and sustainability of Jesuit Social Services
- Providing guidance and insight to support effective decision-making

Requirements
- Tertiary qualification/s and/or relevant experience in the field
- Significant evidence of leadership and people management skills, operational and financial management skills suitable for a social service organization
- Strong knowledge and experience at senior leadership level in the human services sector
- Experience in leading and contributing to strategic thinking, policy development, and working proactively and innovatively
