About the Role

As a Senior Relationship Manager at ANZ, you will be part of a new portfolio that requires contribution to the design, execution, and monitoring of a business plan in pursuit of specific customer, people, risk, and financial outcomes.

The role is based in Sydney NSW 2000, and as a Senior Relationship Manager, you will undertake the following:

  • Leading the sourcing and management of transactions, developing lending structures, and conducting thorough due diligence.
  • Managing approval processes, documentation, and fostering stakeholder relationships.
  • Leading, coaching and providing development opportunities for junior team members to allow the achievement of current and future objectives.
  • Building and maintaining relationships with key internal and external stakeholders in implementing sales, service, operational, process, and credit quality initiatives
  • Representing ANZ in the building and construction industry, networking with key stakeholders to advance knowledge and expertise.
Key Responsibilities

You will have extensive experience in commercial banking or a non-bank financial institution or real estate finance. Your strong direct experience leading real estate finance transactions, particularly in residential and commercial development, will be beneficial in this role.

A proficiency in risk assessment, financial modelling, and negotiation is essential. You will also need excellent communication skills, adept at conveying complex concepts to diverse audiences, and strong organisational skills, thriving in high-pressure environments with a customer-centric focus.

About You

To succeed in this role, you will ideally bring the following:

  • Extensive experience in commercial banking or a non-bank financial institution or real estate finance.
  • Strong direct experience leading real estate finance transactions, particularly in residential and commercial development.
  • Proficiency in risk assessment, financial modelling, and negotiation.
  • Excellent communication skills, adept at conveying complex concepts to diverse audiences.
  • Strong organisational skills, thriving in high-pressure environments with a customer-centric focus.
