About the Technical Records Role

This is a key position within our organization, responsible for ensuring the accuracy and integrity of aircraft records and maintenance information.

The successful candidate will oversee the technical records function, including the management of policies, procedures, and processes for accessing and auditing technical assets used in aircraft scheduling and management.

Responsibilities
  1. Ensure the accuracy, completeness, and integrity of aircraft records and maintenance information.
  2. Maintain an efficient technical records system for searching and retrieving aircraft records.
  3. Oversee the upkeep of maintenance information databases and tracking systems.
  4. Ensure compliance with aviation regulations and company requirements for record storage.
  5. Track and resolve discrepancies in aircraft maintenance records and work packages.
  6. Audit physical and electronic aircraft records periodically for accuracy.
  7. Record all scheduled maintenance, airworthiness directives, and service bulletins in relevant logbooks.
  8. Develop and implement processes to improve work efficiency.
  9. Utilize software for maintenance planning, scheduling, and parts processing.
  10. Assist in managing instructions on aircraft airworthiness and maintenance documentation.
  11. Process completed work packs and aircraft defects in software.
  12. Prepare maintenance release documentation for certification.
  13. Ensure correct completion and signing off of all paperwork.
  14. Maintain and update aircraft logbooks and component history records.
  15. Audit work packages to verify maintenance completion.
  16. Manage aircraft record filing and archiving systems.
  17. Monitor and validate aircraft hours, cycles, and maintenance scheduling data.
  18. Maintain the security and integrity of aircraft records.
  19. Support senior engineers and maintenance directors with logbooks, work packages, and fleet planning.
  20. Review and update maintenance programs and compliance lists.
  21. Plan and manage maintenance activities delegated by maintenance teams.
  22. Monitor the Aircraft Reliability Program to ensure safety and reliability levels.
Requirements
  • Experience working with manufacturers and vendors.
  • Experience with software or similar maintenance tracking systems.
  • Interest in the aviation industry.
  • Practical mechanical skills and technical documentation proficiency.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Initiative and responsibility.
  • Good computer and communication skills.
