About The Technical Records Role

This position involves leading the Technical Records function to ensure safety, compliance, and operational excellence in aircraft scheduling and management.

The role includes overseeing the operations, policies, procedures, and processes for the secure management, access, and auditing of technical assets used in the fleet.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Aircraft Record Accuracy: Ensure the accuracy, completeness, and integrity of aircraft records and maintenance information.
  2. Maintenance Information Management: Maintain an efficient Technical Records system for searching and retrieving aircraft records.
  3. Maintenance Database Upkeep: Oversee the upkeep of maintenance information databases and tracking systems.
  4. Regulatory Compliance: Ensure compliance with CASA/FAA regulations and company requirements for record storage.
  5. Discrepancy Resolution: Track and resolve discrepancies in aircraft maintenance records and work packages.
  6. Audit and Review: Audit physical and electronic aircraft records periodically for accuracy.
  7. Maintenance Documentation: Record all scheduled maintenance, ADs, and SBs in relevant logbooks.
  8. Process Improvement: Develop and implement processes to improve work efficiency.
  9. Maintenance Planning: Utilize Aeronet for maintenance planning, scheduling, and parts processing.
  10. Airworthiness Support: Assist in managing instructions on aircraft airworthiness and maintenance documentation.
  11. Paperwork Completion: Process completed work packs and aircraft defects in Aeronet.
  12. Certification Preparation: Prepare maintenance release documentation for certification.
  13. Paperwork Sign-Off: Ensure correct completion and signing off of all paperwork.
  14. Aircraft Logbook Maintenance: Maintain and update aircraft logbooks and component history records.
  15. Work Package Verification: Audit work packages to verify maintenance completion.
  16. Record Filing and Archiving: Manage aircraft record filing and archiving systems.
  17. Data Validation: Monitor and validate aircraft hours, cycles, and maintenance scheduling data.
  18. Security and Integrity: Maintain the security and integrity of aircraft records.
  19. Support and Collaboration: Support the Chief Engineer and Maintenance Directors with logbooks, work packages, and fleet planning.
  20. Program Review and Update: Review and update maintenance programs and compliance lists.
  21. Maintenance Activity Planning: Plan and manage maintenance activities delegated by the HAAMC.
  22. Aircraft Reliability Monitoring: Monitor the Aircraft Reliability Program to ensure safety and reliability levels.
