About the Role

We are seeking a seasoned professional to lead our prestigious Special Purpose Aircraft (SPA) program as Operations Manager. This rare opportunity involves overseeing the comprehensive maintenance, repair, and overhaul of aircraft and engines within a program renowned for its impeccable track record.

Key Responsibilities
  • Oversee the scheduling of inspections and manage external repair services as necessary
  • Authorise aircraft release, ensuring adherence to rigorous standards
  • Lead the SPA Aircraft Maintenance Organisation (AMO) workforce, ensuring alignment with operational demands
  • Maintain exceptional safety and regulatory compliance, driving continuous improvement in maintenance practices and operational efficiency
About You

You are a seasoned professional with a background in Aviation Management, Engineering, or a related field, supported by formal qualifications such as a Civil or Military Aircraft Trade Certificate. Your deep understanding of Australian Civil and Defence Aviation regulations, along with hands-on experience in maintenance control systems and OEM service literature, distinguishes you as an expert in your field.

Your leadership is marked by strong negotiation skills and clear, authoritative communication, allowing you to effectively guide teams and collaborate with high-level stakeholders. Your meticulous attention to detail and analytical skills enable you to make informed decisions that uphold both safety and efficiency.
