Job Opportunity

We are seeking a highly motivated and organized individual to join our team as a Trainee Business Administration. This is a temporary (12 month) full-time opportunity that will provide on-the-job experience and training in administration and customer service functions.

About the Role

The successful candidate will be responsible for providing administrative support to the General Manager's Unit, including tasks such as data entry, filing, and correspondence. They will also have the opportunity to complete a Certificate III in Business and gain valuable experience in local government.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide administrative support to the General Manager's Unit
  • Complete a Certificate III in Business
  • Gain on-the-job experience in administration and customer service functions
  • Develop strong communication and teamwork skills

Requirements

  • Completion of Year 12 High School Certificate with satisfactory outcomes
  • Willingness to complete Certificate III in Business
  • Ability to plan, organize, and manage time effectively
  • Effective oral and written communication skills
  • Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office, including Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
