Early Childhood Educator

The YMCA WA is seeking a Part-time Assistant Early Childhood Educator to join our Yappara House Early Learning Centre team. We are looking for a passionate Educator with excellent communication skills, a love for early childhood education, and the ability to build strong, genuine relationships with parents, staff, and young children.

Key Responsibilities- Record observations of individual children or groups
- Implement a program that reflects children's interests, development, culture, and the YMCA's Approach to Learning
- Use strategies to encourage children to participate in activities
- Maintain a safe and hygienic environment for the children attending the Centre
- Create positive relationships with children, families, and team members
- Certificate III in Early Childhood Education and Care or equivalent
- HLTAID012 First Aid Certificate
- Current and valid National Police Clearance and Working with Children Check
- Enthusiasm, commitment, and a desire to work in early childhood education and care
- A competitive salary of $55,000 - $65,000 per annum, depending on experience
