Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced professional to lead our Data Network Hardware and Structured Communications Cabling infrastructure solutions team.

The successful candidate will be responsible for managing and delivering best-fit solutions via a Vendor Delivery Model to multiple sites, providing high-level strategic advice to senior officers and key stakeholders, and consulting and negotiating with clients and suppliers.

  • Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage and deliver Data Network Hardware and Structured Communications Cabling infrastructure solutions to multiple sites
  • Provide high-level strategic advice to senior officers and key stakeholders on issues relevant to the specific accountabilities of the role
  • Consult and negotiate with clients and suppliers on the development and implementation of best practice initiatives and service delivery standards
  • Lead and manage multiple teams and projects, coordinating the development of systemic initiatives relating to departmental priorities
  • Promote leadership and foster a challenging, equitable, ethical, and safe work environment for staff, encouraging commitment, skills development, professional growth, and continuous improvement
  • Provide reporting and measurable actions to assist the team with best practice and follow ITSM processes

Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Proven experience in managing and delivering Data Network Hardware and Structured Communications Cabling infrastructure solutions
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to provide high-level strategic advice to senior officers and key stakeholders
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to consult and negotiate with clients and suppliers
  • Leadership and management skills, with the ability to lead and manage multiple teams and projects
  • Ability to promote leadership and foster a challenging, equitable, ethical, and safe work environment for staff
