Organisational Transformation and HR Excellence

We are seeking a Senior Human Resources Business Partner to drive organisational transformation and continuous improvement of HR practices. This key role will focus on aligning HR strategies with the organisation's strategic objectives.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Lead workforce and change initiatives to strengthen capability and culture.
  • Act as a trusted coach and advisor, empowering leaders to manage people effectively.
  • Use data and insights to guide decision-making and tackle organisational challenges.
  • Ensure compliance and contribute to the development of practical HR policies and processes.
  • Build strong relationships across the business, navigating complexity and influencing outcomes.
  • Collaborate with the People & Culture team to deliver integrated solutions that drive success.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Experience leading the design and implementation of innovative workforce change strategies and engagement programs.
  • Demonstrated application of a data-driven approach to HR business partnering, using metrics and performance indicators to develop KPI-focused strategies.
  • Proven ability to coach and guide leaders through people-related challenges, ensuring compliance, and empowering them to manage their teams effectively.
  • High level business acumen, with the ability to quickly understand stakeholder dynamics and link HR strategies to business risks and opportunities.
  • Experience in building strong stakeholder relationships in complex environments, navigating competing priorities while fostering collaboration and alignment.
  • Significant experience advising, coaching, and influencing executive-level leaders.
  • Strong capability in managing complex employee relations matters and leading workforce change.
  • Relevant tertiary qualification in Human Resource Management, Organisational Development, Industrial Relations or similar field is preferred.

  • The ideal candidate will have significant experience in HR business partnering, preferably in a government or large complex matrix organisation.
