Job Opportunity

We are seeking a seasoned Senior Financial Operations Director to oversee financial management for our organization.

This role will involve managing day-to-day financial functions, preparing accurate financial reports, ensuring compliance with accounting standards, and supporting strategic decision-making with timely financial insights.

The ideal candidate brings extensive management experience, is highly organized, and thrives in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee all financial functions including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger maintenance
  • Prepare and review monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements
  • Reconcile bank accounts, credit card transactions, and balance sheet accounts
  • Maintain organized financial records
  • Ensure compliance with internal controls, accounting policies, and regulatory requirements
  • Lead, supervise, and mentor financial staff, providing guidance and performance management
  • Partner with operational teams to track key performance indicators such as labor costs, chemical usage, and revenue per unit
  • Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow analysis
  • Coordinate with external auditors and tax preparers as needed
  • Identify and implement process improvements and cost-saving opportunities

Required Skills and Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
  • 5+ years of progressive accounting experience with at least 2 years in a management or supervisory role
  • Experience in multi-location businesses (retail, hospitality, convenience retail, or similar industries preferred)
  • Strong knowledge of GAAP
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite; accounting system experience preferred
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills
