We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Electrical Design Expert to join our Sydney, Australia team.

Job Description:

The successful candidate will hold technical and supervisory responsibilities for the development of high-quality designs for primary high-voltage (HV) systems. You will support Principal Engineers in developing HV system designs and conduct cable rating, load flow, insulation coordination, earthing, and lighting protection studies.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop high-quality HV system designs
  • Support Principal Engineers in HV design developments
  • Conduct cable rating, load flow, insulation coordination, earthing, and lighting protection studies

You will be an integral part of our team and play a crucial role in the success of our flagship projects.

Requirements:
  • Tertiary qualifications in Electrical Engineering or equivalent
  • Demonstrated experience performing in a similar role in the HV electrical industry
  • Expertise in substation design and/or utility grid connections
  • Strong knowledge of Australian industry standards
  • High-level communication and stakeholder management skills
