About the Role
The successful candidate will be responsible for leading category management, supplier relationship management and sourcing activities across assigned categories of spend. This includes developing category plans, executing sourcing initiatives and driving procurement processes that ensure key aspects relating to risk management, quality, ethical sourcing, sustainability and legal compliance are considered.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute robust end-to-end Category Management strategies across all assigned areas of spend, ensuring alignment with Pact business objectives and key stakeholders
- Identify and execute sourcing initiatives to deliver value from strategic suppliers throughout the contract life cycle
- Lead and drive supplier relationships to deliver ongoing value from strategic suppliers
- Identify and develop suppliers (alternate or new) to support revenue growth through innovative new products or services and manage supply risk for the business
- Drive procurement processes ensuring key aspects relating to risk management, quality, ethical sourcing, sustainability and legal compliance are considered in line with Pact Group policies
About You
We are looking for a driven and collaborative procurement professional who thrives in complex environments and prides themselves on developing strong working relationships across the business.
To be successful in this role, you'll have:
- Proven experience and knowledge of procurement and contract management
- Demonstrable experience in leading and managing categories of spend, applying category management processes, executing sourcing initiatives, business cases and category plans
- Problem-solving ability & commercial acumen, understanding the impact of decision making on the business
- Strong strategic thinking and analytical ability, utilising big data to create meaningful and useful intelligence
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to develop relationships and influence key stakeholders
Estimated Salary Range
$120,000 - $150,000 per annum, depending on experience
