About the Role

This is a key contributor role in securing business opportunities and driving continued expansion. As a Pricing and Estimating Specialist, you will play a critical role in evaluating requests for proposal, coordinating estimation, and developing pricing strategies for proposal responses.

You will perform thorough risk, financial, and competitive analyses to develop comprehensive business cases, create direct and indirect rates and factors for use in estimates, pricing, and proposals, and develop estimates and prices from technical requirements through the design, build, and aftermarket support stages of projects.

Responsibilities include:

  • Evaluating requests for proposal, coordinating estimation, and development of pricing strategies for proposal responses
  • Performing in-depth risk, financial, and competitive analyses for development of business cases
  • Creating direct and indirect rates and factors for use in estimates, pricing, and proposals
  • Developing estimates and prices from technical requirements through the design, build, and aftermarket support stages of projects
  • Developing, preparing, and validating estimates and prices. Evaluating requests for proposal, substantiating estimates/pricing, and assembling price proposals
  • Developing estimating and pricing methods and frameworks
  • Developing and maintaining comprehensive business cases
  • Performing analyses and providing recommendations in support of pricing/estimating (risk, financial, competitive, etc.)
  • Developing and maintaining pricing models and tools
  • Coordinating data integration and structured system maintenance
  • Developing/aplying/maintaining rates and factors for estimating, pricing, and proposals
  • Ensuring compliance with policies, procedures, and regulations
