Job Description

The Quality Inspector Assistant role entails supporting the Quality Inspector and Production Manager in ensuring the quality of manufactured and supplied products. Key responsibilities include prioritizing workflow, maintaining calibration equipment, preparing inspection and test reports, and liaising with technical and production staff.

Additionally, the Quality Inspector Assistant will assist in performing first-off and in-process inspections, product and/or process documentation, and closing out investigations related to non-conformance, defects, or customer complaints.

Key qualifications for this position include a trade certificate (Fitter & Turner/Metal Machinist), engineering background, or experience in QA/QC inspections. Understanding of Quality Management Systems and knowledge of API 5C, 6A, and 7-1 requirements are also advantageous.
