RTO Manager Job RoleAbout the Position

The RTO Manager is a senior leadership role responsible for supporting the Chief Executive in overall compliance functions. This position requires an experienced and knowledgeable expert to ensure quality standards and controls are evident in the RTO operations.

Key Responsibilities and Expectations
  • Support the CEO with delegated compliance duties and strategic projects
  • Contribute to business success by operating within set parameters and adopting a cost-effective approach
  • Identify and leverage opportunities critical to excellence in operational activities
  • Develop and maintain State Government compliance knowledge and manage contractual obligations on regulatory standards
  • Model resilience, adaptability to change, and support colleagues in aligning to the strategic direction
Requirements and Qualifications
  • At least 3 years of experience in Private RTO management
  • Understanding of VET standards, guidelines, and legislation
  • Experience with internal and external audits
  • Knowledge of RTO Standards and State Funding Contracts (VIC, NSW, QLD & SA)
Accountabilities and Contributions
  • Operations Management and Team Leadership
  • Develop best business practices and tools for compliance management tasks
  • Manage and distribute Government notifications to relevant staff
  • Support daily operations of the quality and compliance department
Autonomy and Flexibility
  • Autonomy to prioritise project and compliance workload
  • Manage Quality Officers priorities and working hours
  • Flexible working arrangements
