About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Sustainability and Procurement Advisor to join our team at Teachers Health. As a key member of our organization, you will play a critical role in driving our sustainability initiatives and ensuring that our procurement practices are aligned with our environmental and social goals.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement a comprehensive ESG strategy that aligns with our business objectives and values.
  • Manage and oversee climate change activities, including reporting and policy development.
  • Provide specialist ESG services to the business, including procurement and supply chain management.
  • Communicate ESG matters to stakeholders, including the Risk & Compliance Committee and the Board.
  • Develop and implement a procurement function that prioritizes sustainable practices.
  • Act as a conduit for change management practices that address legal, commercial, and regulatory risks in the ESG space.
  • Stay up-to-date with key laws and regulations impacting the business and provide proactive advice on compliance issues.
Requirements
  • Graduate qualification in Law, project management, or ESG specialisation.
  • High-level project management and communication skills, including computer literacy in Office 365.
  • Previous ESG/Sustainability experience.
  • Knowledge of mandatory climate risk reporting and associated accounting standards (desirable).
  • Knowledge of Corporate Strategy and Business Planning (desirable).
