Job Title: Director Of Nursing – Life Fertility Clinic Melbourne
Job SummaryThe Director of Nursing will lead and grow the nursing department, ensuring patient care remains at the heart of everything we do. This role involves strategic and hands-on responsibilities across clinical leadership, team development, patient care, compliance, and operational efficiency.
Key Responsibilities- Provide leadership and direction to the nursing department, fostering a culture of excellence, collaboration, and innovation.
- Develop, implement, and oversee nursing policies, systems, and protocols to ensure world-class patient care.
- Recruit, mentor, and develop nursing staff, ensuring mandatory training and performance reviews are consistently maintained.
- Drive quality improvement initiatives, audits, and compliance in line with RTAC, WH&S, and industry standards.
- Monitor and manage patient feedback, resolving clinical complaints with professionalism and care.
- Lead operational planning, including resource allocation, rostering, and procurement of clinical supplies.
Registration as a Registered Nurse and/or Midwife (AHPRA)
Significant experience in women's health, with ongoing professional development in the field.
A minimum of three years' experience in the management of patients with infertility.
Demonstrated leadership experience in managing nursing teams within a healthcare environment.
Strong knowledge of compliance, quality assurance, and clinical governance frameworks.
Excellent communication skills and the ability to build strong relationships with patients, staff, and external stakeholders.
A proactive, solutions-focused approach to managing challenges and driving continuous improvement.
