Strategic Leadership for Quality and Safety

We are seeking a dedicated professional to join our Board Quality and Safety Committee, providing strategic leadership in relation to the clinical governance of quality and safety.

The ideal candidate will have experience as a consumer of healthcare, with a strong understanding of clinical governance and an interest in high-quality health services.

The successful applicant will be responsible for elevating the patient voice, collaborating with healthcare leaders, and driving meaningful change to create a health system that listens, learns, and improves.

About This Role

Your Qualifications
  • Tertiary qualification in a relevant field
  • Experience as a consumer of healthcare (patient or carer)
  • Strong analytical skills, with the ability to analyse documents including quality metrics and data to identify patient experience and safety issues
  • Knowledge of Monash Health operations, the health structure in Victoria, including the National Safety & Quality Health Service Standards
  • Understanding of patient-centred care principles
