The company is currently embarking on exciting growth and has a great opportunity for recent software and engineering graduates to join its team working on the West Gate Tunnel Project based in Melbourne, Australia.
Job DescriptionThis entry-level position will be part of the testing team currently working on the delivery of the Operations Management and Control System (OMCS) and related ITS for the West Gate Tunnel project.
The ideal candidate will be able to learn quickly, work independently, and have excellent communication skills. This will be a 12-month fixed-term contract with an estimated salary of AU$80,000 - AU$100,000 per annum.
Key Responsibilities- Design test cases to ensure software implementation meets requirements
- Collaborate across development teams to ensure design meets technical requirements
- Execution of nominated test cases
- Create defects on the defect management system
- Work with design and development teams to focus on defect resolution
- Supervise completion of defect resolution
- Test all aspects of SICE's delivery for the West Gate Tunnel Project and report defects
- Create and execute both manual and automated test cases and record outcomes
- Review technical documentation
- Must have graduated in the last two years or be in final year of studies in a relevant field of engineering (Software, Electrical, Electronic, Computer Science)
- Knowledge and/or experience of PLC/SCADA systems architecture highly desirable
- Programming skills in .NET, Python, or JavaScript
- Strong MS Office Suite skills (especially in Excel & Word)
- Experience in test management software desirable
- Ability to work entirely on-site
- Ability to work on a shared roster and shift-work upon request
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
