Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Graduate Testing Engineer to join our team working on the West Gate Tunnel Project. As a key member of our testing team, you will be responsible for designing test cases, collaborating with development teams, and executing tests to ensure software implementation meets requirements.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design test cases to verify software implementation against requirements
  • Collaborate with development teams to ensure design meets technical requirements
  • Execute nominated test cases and create defects in the defect management system
  • Work with the design and development team to resolve defects
  • Supervise completion of defect resolution and report defects found during testing
  • Create and execute both manual and automated test cases, recording their outcomes
  • Review technical documentation to ensure compliance with standards and regulations
Requirements

To be eligible for this role, you must have graduated within the last two years or be in your final year of studies in a relevant field of engineering (Software, Electrical, Electronic, Computer Science). Knowledge and/or experience of PLC/SCADA systems architecture is highly desirable, as is programming skills in .NET, Python, or JavaScript. Strong MS Office Suite skills, particularly in Excel and Word, are also essential. Experience in test management software is desirable, but not necessary. Excellent verbal and written communication skills are required.

Salary and Benefits

The estimated salary range for this position is $80,000 - $110,000 per annum, depending on experience and qualifications.
