Maritime Engineering Specialist

We are seeking an experienced maritime engineer to join our team, working on large-scale multi-discipline projects for various industries including defence, local government, state government, ports, and sustainability.

This is a fantastic opportunity to apply your existing experience across different industries and gain exposure to new and interesting projects. You will be supported by and get to work with a range of other disciplines across the company.

Our engineers typically have between 2 and 5 years' experience with the following skills and qualifications:

  • Designing, evaluating and reporting on ports, harbours, coastal works and marine structures.
  • Experience in using coastal modelling software, preferably DELFT-3D, SWAN or MIKE.
  • Working with local governments, port clients and/or the Defence sector.
  • Familiarity with Australian design codes and guidelines.
  • Demonstrated skills in mentoring junior staff to enhance their skills and capability.
  • Ability to project manage and/or design manage small maritime projects.
  • Engaging with clients, pursuing opportunities and winning work.
  • Chartered Professional Engineer status or ability to obtain within an agreed timeframe.
  • Tertiary degree qualifications in Civil or Structural Engineering.
  • Eligibility for Australian Government security clearance.
