We are seeking an enthusiastic and detail-oriented Scrum Master/Project Coordinator to support the successful delivery of a variety of projects. In this dynamic role, you will assist with coaching, guiding, and mentoring the team in understanding and applying Scrum practices, helping the team adhere to agreed-upon processes while remaining flexible and open to improvement. Working closely with Project Managers, Business Analysts, Product Owners, Software Developers, and other cross-functional teams, you'll play a key part in achieving project goals on time, within scope, and within budget.

About the Opportunity
Our Project and Business Analysis team, based in Perth CBD, are currently seeking an experienced Scrum Master/Project Coordinator to join them. In this role you will report to the Project and BA Manager.
Your key responsibilities will include:
• Facilitate Scrum ceremonies such as daily stand-ups, sprint planning, sprint reviews, and retrospectives, guiding teams in Scrum best practices.
• Assist business analysts in developing project plans, schedules, and budgets.
• Coordinate and monitor project activities, timelines, and deliverables to ensure adherence to schedules.
• Coach and mentor the team on Agile principles and continuous improvement, fostering an environment that encourages collaboration and innovation.
• Facilitate communication among project stakeholders, team members, and external vendors.
• Monitor and report on sprint progress, manage Scrum boards and project tools (e.g., Jira, Trello, Confluence), ensure effective use of project data and metrics for continuous improvement.
• Prepare and distribute project documentation including meeting minutes, status reports, and risk logs.
• Remove impediments that hinder team progress, resolve internal conflicts, and support self-management and accountability.
• Organise and schedule project meetings, workshops, and events.
• Track project progress and report updates to management, identifying project risks and escalating issues as needed
• Maintain project files, records, and documentation to ensure compliance and accessibility.
• Support resource allocation and procurement activities.
• Assist with quality control processes and project evaluations.
About You
You are a proactive, organised professional, passionate about ensuring projects run smoothly from conception to completion. Your time management and communication skills set you apart, and you thrive in collaborative, fast-paced environments.
You are a servant leader, skilled at fostering collaboration, resolving conflicts, and empowering others to succeed. Adaptable and proactive, you thrive in fast-paced environments and are comfortable with change. You have hands-on experience with Agile tools and frameworks (Jira, Trello, Scrum, Kanban) and are passionate about continuous improvement across teams and projects.
Other key skills, experience and qualification:
• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Project Management, or related field (preferred).
• 1-3 years of experience as a Scrum master.
• 1-3 years' experience with project coordination.
• Strong understanding of Agile methodologies including Scrum, Kanban.
• Experience working with project management tools (e.g. Jira, Trello).
• Formal certifications (CSM, PSM, PMP, PMI-ACP) are highly regarded.
• Strong organisational and multitasking abilities.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
• Problem-solving and critical thinking skills.
• Attention to detail and accuracy.
