Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Coastal Engineer to join our team.

This role will involve designing and planning large-scale maritime facilities for various industries, including defence, local government, state government, ports, and sustainability.

You will be responsible for applying your existing experience across these different industries and gaining exposure to new and interesting projects.

As a Coastal Engineer, you will work closely with other disciplines to deliver concept designs through to construction phase support.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver high-quality concept designs that meet the needs of clients and stakeholders.
  • Provide technical expertise in designing, evaluating, and reporting on ports, harbours, coastal works, and marine structures.
  • Work collaboratively with local governments, port clients, and/or the Defence sector to achieve project goals.
  • Familiarity with Australian design codes and guidelines is essential.
  • Mentor less experienced staff to enhance their skills and capability.
  • Project manage and/or design manage small maritime projects.
  • Engage with clients, pursue opportunities, and win work.
