Speech/Language Pathologist Job Description">

Evaluate and assess patients with communication disorders to develop treatment plans, implementing medically prescribed programs according to professional guidelines. Collaborate with healthcare teams to ensure comprehensive patient care. A Speech/Language Pathologist plays a crucial role in helping individuals overcome speech, language, and hearing difficulties.

">Required Skills and Qualifications">
  • Master's degree in Speech/Language Pathology or a related field
  • Current licensure to practice Speech/Language Pathology issued by the relevant state board
  • Basic Life Support for Health Care Provider (CPR) certification through the American Heart Association
  • Inpatient SLP: Demonstrated independent competency performing and interpreting video fluoroscopic evaluation and swallowing and Flexible Endoscopic Evaluation Swallowing (FEES)
  • Registration with the Board as meeting all requirements to practice under the supervision of a licensed Speech Language Pathologist during the Clinical Fellowship Year
