Position Summary:

As a seasoned Technical Specialist, you will play a pivotal role in driving technical excellence and leadership within our organization. This mid-to-senior level position demands strong technical acumen, exceptional communication skills, and the ability to motivate teams towards shared objectives.

  • Key Responsibilities:
  1. Strategic Planning & Communication: Collaborate with executives, management, and operations to design and implement strategic plans through regular reports and meetings.
  2. Equipment Development: Participate in equipment improvement projects from initiation to installation and startup, ensuring seamless integration and enhanced productivity.
  3. Technical Research: Investigate innovative technologies to enhance location functions and boost overall performance.
  4. Procurement & Vendor Management: Procure necessary equipment, maintain effective vendor relationships, and monitor their performance.
  5. Process Optimization: Recommend process improvements, utility management, work reorganization, and station relocations to drive operational efficiency.

  • Requirements:
  1. A bachelor's degree in a technical or engineering-related field, or at least 7 years of experience in reliability, preferably in a similar environment.
  2. Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and CMMS systems.
  3. Experience with AutoCAD software.
  4. Ability to travel up to 60% within the region for business purposes.
  5. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  6. Valid Driver's License.
