About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Operational Risk Management Specialist to join our Second Line Operational Risk Team. As a key member of this team, you will play a critical role in shaping our organization's Operational Risk profiles and driving change in Non-Financial Risk Management culture.

As a Risk Oversight Manager, you will provide oversight over new business initiatives, ensuring that material Operational Risks are identified and managed within our Cyber, Technology, Information Security, and Supplier Risk Team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Review and challenge the scope and outcome of business risk reporting, targeted assessments, significant incidents, key risk indications, project, and assurance activities.
  • Provide training and awareness of key risk management policies and contribute to projects to deliver our overall Operational Risk Strategy.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and mitigate Operational Risks.
Requirements
  • Proven Operational Risk Management experience in a Line 1 or Line 2 capacity.
  • Prior experience in a control function, assurance, or internal/external audit role, gained within a financial or professional services firm.
  • Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to uncover hidden insights and form an independent view of the risk profile across the organization.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
