About the Role

As an Operational Risk Analyst at Macquarie, you will play a key role in supporting the oversight of our Line 1 business function to enhance specialist operational risk management. You will apply principles to specialist disciplines covering technology, supplier, and information security risks.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Analyzing data to obtain and deliver insights from monitoring and reporting of risks to senior management
  • Identifying opportunities for improvement and driving the delivery and execution of uplift for operational risk management
  • Collaborating with stakeholders to ensure effective risk management practices
  • Developing and maintaining risk management frameworks and procedures
  • Providing risk management advice and guidance to business units

Requirements:

  • Experience in a risk management/audit role, gained in a financial services organization or professional services, with a solid grasp of operational risk management principles
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong stakeholder management skills
  • Ability to analyze data, and present and deliver insights
  • Experience in any of the following disciplines; technology risk, cyber risk, data and information security risk, third-party risk or business resilience risk is desirable but not essential
