Operational Risk Management Specialist

This is an exciting opportunity to join Macquarie Capital's team of risk management professionals. As part of the first line of defense, our team ensures that Operational Risk is managed effectively in line with our Operational Risk Management Framework and associated policies.

Key Responsibilities- Prepare Operational Risk reporting for Senior Management forums, covering both business-aligned and legal entity perspectives.
- Serve as a global quality assurance contact for incident reviews, issue management processes, control assurance, and our Risk System.
- Help to coordinate the Global Risk & Control Self-Assessment for the business and provide input to the Global Macquarie Capital reporting process.
- Execute Control Assurance, including scoping, testing, and reporting.
- Develop and implement Macquarie Capital's global risk management framework.
- Oversee the implementation of Macquarie Capital's Conduct Risk Framework.
- Advise on the application of Operational Risk policies and procedures.
- 3-5 years' experience in an operational risk or related risk role.
- Demonstrated ability in managing risk and frameworks.
- Demonstrated ability in assurance.
- Strong analytical ability and problem-solving skills.
- Attention to detail and strong communication skills.
- Ability to work independently.
