About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Risk Management Specialist to join our team as Operations & Resilience Risk Management Manager. As a key member of our Risk and Executive Committee, you will play a critical role in contributing to the success of ING Australia.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide expert advice and assurance on the implementation of the Non-Financial Risk Management framework, focusing on operations, fraud, continuity, and resilience risk.
  • Assist the Lead of Operations & Resilience Risk Management and the Head of NFR in the development, embedding, and management of non-financial risk management and its associated frameworks across the business.
  • Contribute to overall NFR development and strategic initiatives, including NFR reporting and emerging risks.
Requirements
  • Sound understanding of operational risk, including frameworks and expertise across multiple risk classes.
  • Financial Services and/or risk management background with a minimum of 8 years' experience, preferably in Wholesale Banking, Financial Markets, and/or Treasury.
  • Exceptional time and priority management, with the ability to operate effectively under time pressure and maintain sharp attention to detail.
  • Strong MS Office skills, including Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Access.
