About this role

We are seeking a skilled professional to join our team as a Training Coordinator.

The successful candidate will use their exceptional communication and interpersonal skills to liaise between multiple stakeholders across the organisation, from senior managers to employees and external vendors.

The role's objective is to engage with technical employees to develop and evolve their technical capabilities by facilitating the enablement of our technical teams with current and future skills required.

A typical day may include:

  • Promoting and coordinating technical events such as lunch and learn talks, virtual conferences, local face-to-face conferences, and forums.
  • Maintaining a training database and providing regular reporting on employee training and competency status.
  • Identifying and liaising with suitable external training providers and monitoring the effectiveness of external training courses.
  • Using feedback from participants to continuously improve training opportunities.
  • Adopting a systematic approach to improve existing processes using platforms like PowerBI and SharePoint.

Key skills and qualifications

Candidates should possess strong prioritisation skills, a proactive approach, and ability to develop relationships. Professional experience in IT or Defence is preferred, along with knowledge of computer software packages including Microsoft Office Suite.
