About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Home Lending Specialist to join our team at CommBank. As a key member of our lending team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional service to customers, building trust, confidence, and advocacy to help them secure and enhance their financial goals.

Key Responsibilities

  • Customer Support and Advice

    Provide support and guidance to customers to help them achieve their home buying dreams, including completing first interviews and appointments to determine suitable lending solutions.

  • Lending Solutions and Applications

    Submit applications, make relevant suggestions to customers based on their home buying goals, and provide exceptional service to build trust and confidence.

  • Business Development and Networking

    Build your personal brand and network in the local community to enhance your credibility, develop your business by building and maintaining internal and external referral sources, and seek external referrals from existing customers.

  • Market Research and Analysis

    Research the broader market, economic, and industry changes affecting customers and the Group, and use tools to capture customer feedback to drive improvement.

Requirements

  • Experience and Skills

    Experience in a similar home lending role from within a bank or mortgage broker environment, demonstrated business development success, and a well-developed knowledge of home lending products and the current responsible lending legislation.
