Job Description

The Planning and Scheduling Manager oversees the management of the planning and scheduling teams within a maintenance function, spanning across upstream and midstream operations. This role provides strategic support to all maintenance, campaigns, and turnaround teams in the area of planning and scheduling.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage the team in delivering high-quality planning and scheduling covering maintenance execution, turnarounds, and campaigns to ensure quality outcomes in support of maintenance, reliability, and asset optimization.
  • Support the integration and standardization of operational processes into existing systems, driving safe, effective, and cost-efficient delivery of maintenance activities.
  • Lead and manage scheduling and planning teams to ensure executable integrated schedules are delivered to operations, reflecting business objectives and priorities.
  • Ensure health, safety, security, and environmental (HSSE) risk assessments, operational, and maintenance processes are properly used.
  • Provide planning and scheduling support to maintenance execution managers and execution teams across operations.
  • Accountable for the delivery and maintenance of preventive maintenance planning libraries, owner of maintenance execution resourcing models.
  • Support the maintenance execution manager and functional support manager in continuous improvement of maintenance execution processes.
  • Contribute to the development and execution of maintenance process improvement plans.

Additional Responsibilities

  • Implement the planner of the future roadmap, including enabling offshore support organization and digital technology.
  • Challenge and support process owners to ensure processes are embedded, effective, and leveraging sustainable improvements in business results.
  • Ensure safe and optimal processes and structures are in place, supported, and audited for day-to-day tasks, turnaround activities, and supporting processes.
  • Deliver the preventive maintenance planning library for midstream operations.
  • Optimize and implement schedule changes required by updates in the long-term plan and emergent scope processes.
  • Support SAP project delivery, including changes to planning and scheduling processes.
