Volunteer Opportunity

We are seeking a down-to-earth volunteer in South West Sydney to visit an elderly gentleman living at home.

About the Role:

This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who enjoys chatting and engaging with others, and has a passion for football (NRL). The role involves visiting an elderly gentleman once or twice a week for 30 minutes to 1 hour, which can make a big difference in his life.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Visit the elderly gentleman regularly to chat and engage in conversation
  • Accompany him on walks or outings as desired
  • Talk about topics of mutual interest, including football

Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you will need to have the following skills and qualities:

  • A friendly and approachable demeanor
  • The ability to engage in conversation with someone of advanced age
  • An interest in football (NRL)
