Disability Support Placement Opportunity

Yooralla is committed to supporting practice placements for the development of an experienced and qualified disability sector workforce. As a student placement, you will have the opportunity to apply the theory and skills gained while studying in a professional workplace.
About YouWe are looking for students who are passionate about supporting customers to manage their own lifestyles and live the life they choose. You will be completing a certificate IV in disability through a recognised RTO or university and be interested in ongoing employment opportunities following the successful completion of your placement.
Key Responsibilities- Providing assistance with all aspects of daily living, including meals, personal care, hoisting, and everyday household tasks
- Supporting customers with meaningful engagement within the home and community environments
- Working in a supervised learning environment to gain practical experience

To be considered for this opportunity, you must attach the following mandatory requirements with your application:
- Completed online application
- Placement agreement signed by the relevant parties
- NDIS worker screening check
- Current Certificate for First Aid (HLTAID003) & Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (HLTAID001)
- Evidence of your ability to work in Australia following your placement
- Working with Children Check (WWCC) (if relevant)
- Current Australian driver's licence
- International Police Check (if applicable)
