Job Title: HSE Advisor

Lochard Energy is seeking a highly skilled HSE Advisor to join our team at our Iona Gas storage facility in Port Campbell. As a key member of our HSE team, you will play a critical role in ensuring the health, safety, and environmental well-being of our employees, subcontractors, and the community.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead by example and promote a strong safety culture within the organization.
  • Contribute to team and operational effectiveness by providing expert advice on HSE matters.
  • Facilitate toolbox meetings, manage HSE issues, maintain records, and prepare relevant reports.
  • Participate in risk assessments and risk reviews to identify and mitigate potential hazards.
  • Advise on accreditations, materials, and equipment required from contractors and the business ahead of shutdowns.
  • Review scope of works, detailed job work packs, and provide recommendations to ensure compliance with company policies and procedures.
Requirements:
  • Minimum of two years relevant HSE advisory experience in Australia in either the Oil and Gas or Refinery industries.
  • Clear leadership and communication skills.
  • Minimum Cert IV OH&S or relevant Degree or Diploma.
  • Attention to detail and ability to interpret reports, identify gaps, and make clear recommendations.
