Job Description:

We are looking for a highly skilled Business Transformation Specialist to lead and manage business improvement initiatives across Jemena Networks. As a key member of our Business Improvement & Innovation team, you will be responsible for driving cost optimisation and business outcomes through continuous improvement approaches and financial analyses.

Your Responsibilities:

  • Develop and drive specific initiatives to shape the strategy and activities of the Business Improvement & Innovation team.
  • Identify improvement opportunities using various continuous improvement approaches and financial analyses.
  • Manage problem-solving capabilities and guide others through business changes.
  • Promote technology and systems to reengineer business processes for optimal performance within these systems.
  • Assist and elevate people to take on process changes.
  • Gather detailed requirements for process or system improvement activities and manage a pipeline of improvement opportunities across different areas.
  • Support cross-functional change management to embed process improvements and changes across various functions.
  • Present communication messages to a variety of stakeholders.
  • Deliver project management of various improvement initiatives with business owners from operational, engineering, or commercial areas.
  • Provide analysis and recommendations for transformational change, leveraging data science, financial, or operational analysis.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

To be successful in this role, you will need a tertiary qualification in Engineering, Finance, Business, or a related discipline, alongside extensive experience working in energy, utilities, or a comparable Asset Management industry.

You will also need to demonstrate:

  • Experience working with multiple concurrent activities, general project management, or change management.
  • Able to consult or engage with cross-functional teams and influence multiple stakeholders.
  • Demonstrable experience in Business Performance Analysis, Reporting, or Analytics (e.g., using Power BI).
  • Ability to effectively communicate with senior stakeholders and engage across a large enterprise.
  • Proficiency in SAP and Business Intelligence/Data Warehouse, MS Suite (Power BI – strong, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio, Project).
