WHAT WE OFFER
We are seeking an experienced Lead Project Coordinator in the class 2 multi-unit residential sector to join our leadership team. This role involves overseeing significant projects valued around $100 million. Our client prides itself on a supportive culture that prioritizes employee well-being. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Facilitate the implementation of company and statutory Workplace Health and Safety (WHS) protocols, aiming for Zero Harm
  • Ensure adherence to Quality Assurance Standards
  • Oversee compliance with head contractor and council regulations, as well as other statutory requirements
  • Develop and prepare site construction management plans
  • Formulate construction strategies and timelines
  • Establish budgets, estimates, and cash flow forecasts
  • Collaborate with architects, consultants, and authorities to secure necessary approvals
  • Define project objectives, scope, roles, and responsibilities
  • Manage resource allocation and availability, optimizing both internal and external resources
  • Lead and mentor team members, fostering their professional development
  • Track project budgets and costs, ensuring projects are delivered within financial parameters
  • Create detailed project plans outlining key milestones and activities
  • Ensure project delivery aligns with established plans
  • Work closely with construction managers and delivery teams to support successful project outcomes
  • Conduct regular project reviews and provide updates to stakeholders
  • Manage Development Application (DA) and Construction Certificate (CC) processes as required
  • Participate in weekly meetings with construction managers as necessary
  • Oversee project handover to clients, including all necessary documentation

KEY REQUIREMENTS

  • Tertiary qualifications in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or Project Management
  • A minimum of 10 years' experience in Project Management within the class 2 multi-unit residential sector, specifically for projects valued at $100 million
  • Proven experience managing projects in environments focused on Safety, Quality, and Environmental standards
  • Strong financial management skills, including budget creation, forecasting, and expense tracking
  • Proficient in software tools such as Jobpac/CHEOPS, Microsoft Project, Excel, and Word
