WHAT WE OFFER
We are seeking a highly experienced Lead Project Coordinator to join our leadership team and manage the initial phases of significant upcoming projects. You will be responsible for overseeing a project valued at approximately $100 million. Our company fosters a supportive culture and prioritizes employee well-being. PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Facilitate the implementation of company and regulatory workplace health and safety standards, aiming for Zero Harm
  • Ensure adherence to Quality Assurance Standards
  • Oversee compliance with head contractor and council regulations, along with other statutory requirements
  • Develop and prepare site construction management plans
  • Formulate construction strategies and timelines
  • Establish estimates, budgets, and cash flow projections
  • Collaborate with architects, consultants, and authorities to secure necessary approvals
  • Define project objectives, scope, roles, and responsibilities
  • Manage resource allocation and availability, optimizing both internal and external resources
  • Lead and mentor team members, fostering their professional development
  • Prepare budget outlines based on project requirements and monitor costs to ensure projects remain within budget
  • Create detailed project plans to schedule key milestones and activities
  • Oversee project delivery in accordance with the established project plan
  • Work closely with construction managers and delivery teams to ensure successful project execution
  • Conduct regular project evaluations, track progress, and provide updates to stakeholders
  • Manage Development Application and Construction Certificate processes as required
  • Participate in weekly meetings with construction managers or as necessary
  • Facilitate project handover to clients, including but not limited to Occupation Certificates and Practical Completion

KEY REQUIREMENTS

  • Tertiary qualifications in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field
  • Proven experience managing projects with a hands-on approach
  • A minimum of 10 years in a Project Management role within class 2 multi-unit residential projects valued at $100 million for a principal contractor
  • Demonstrated ability to manage projects in environments focused on safety, quality, and environmental considerations
  • Strong financial management skills for budget planning, forecasting, and expense tracking
  • Proficient in software such as Jobpac/CHEOPS, Microsoft Project, Excel, and Word
