Multiple positions are available within a Federal Government Agency, offering the opportunity to work from home in a flexible arrangement.

Hays Geelong is partnered with this government agency, which seeks multiple APS5 Privacy Officers for full-time temporary assignments starting ASAP.

The successful candidate will work standard full-time business hours from Monday to Friday, performing team leadership responsibilities requiring the setting of priorities and allocating work to the team. Key duties include:

- Assisting with the coordination of Agency responses in relation to Privacy related complaints and incidents.

- Preparing briefing materials for Ministers, Board papers, media releases, reports to Parliamentary committees, and correspondence.

- Managing new systems, processes, and practical tools including training to support Privacy handling and awareness.

- Developing communication material to enhance Agency awareness of Privacy.

- Preparing Privacy reporting for management and executive, and feedback relating to identified trends.

To be successful as the APS5 Privacy Officer, you will need:

- Strong clerical and administrative skills including briefing materials and Board papers.

- Experience leading a team, allocating workload.

- Confidence working with Management and Executives.

- Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal.

- Demonstrated ability to work in a confidential and sensitive environment.

- IT proficiency including MS Office.

This role offers an hourly rate of $55.24 + super, providing the opportunity to progress your career within the Government organisation.
