We have partnered with UTS to provide a career pathway into the insurance world for UTS Law Students, offering multiple Case Manager level roles in our claims teams.

This opportunity will see you manage a portfolio of workers compensation claims, liaising with injured workers, employers, and their treating health practitioners. You will work collaboratively with our team to provide a high level of service and support injured workers to recover from workplace injury and return to work.

This permanent, part-time position requires a 28 hour work week, commencing in 2025 in our Sydney or Parramatta offices, with flexibility to work from home up to 3 days per week once you've completed training.

Your Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide timely and personal customer-focused service to injured workers and employers.
  • Proactively and effectively manage all aspects of a caseload of worker's compensation claims within legislation and compliance guidelines.
  • Deliver the desired customer experience to all stakeholders and manage end-to-end outcomes for a portfolio of cases.
  • Provide accurate and complete information that is consistent and easy to understand (including options about any claim, entitlements, obligations, and responsibilities).
  • Conduct claims reviews, case conferences, or face-to-face meetings with clients as required.

About the Role:

  • Prior experience in customer-facing roles, such as medical, hospitality, retail, or corporate fields, is highly desirable.
  • You will need to be willing to go above and beyond for customers, multitask, and shift priorities when needed.
  • Thrive on working in a team environment and collaborating with others.
  • Be proactive, self-motivated, and able to think creatively when engaging with stakeholders such as workers, employers, and providers.
  • Have high attention to detail and organisational skills.
